Terms and Conditions for Cali State Notary Mobile Notary Public Services

Scope of Services:
-
Cali State Notary, LLC (CNS) will provide notary public services at a location designated by the Client, subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Services include, but are not limited to, the notarization of documents such as affidavits, powers of attorney, acknowledgments, and oaths.

Client Responsibilities:
-
The Client is responsible for providing all necessary documents for notarization.

All signers must be present in person
-
Every signer must have proper photo identification (US driver's license or non-driver ID (such as Senior ID) from a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) issued in the United States or a US passport.

Every signer must be completely able to understand the significance of the document and must sign of their own free will.

The Client must ensure that all documents are complete, accurate, and legible.

By law, CA notaries cannot give legal advice. Please be sure to speak with your attorney or other legal advisor and get answers to any questions you may have BEFORE you meet me for the signing!

Cali State Notary (CNS) Responsibilities:

CNS will arrive at the designated location within the agreed-upon time frame, subject to unforeseen circumstances.

CNS will verify the Client's identity and ensure that the documents are properly executed.

CNS will affix the appropriate notary seal and signature to the documents.

Fees and Payment:
-
Fees for notary public services will be determined in advance and communicated to the Client.

Maximum Notarization fees are set by the State of California
-
Cancellations with less than 2 hours before agreed upon appointment will incur a cancellation fee of $50.
-
Payment is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.

Fees include travel charges and depend on the distance traveled from Turlock, California, to your destination.

Cancellation Policy:
-
The Client may cancel the appointment with at least 2(two) hours' notice.
-
If the Client cancels within one hour of the scheduled appointment time, a cancellation fee of $50 may apply.

In the event of a Cali State Notary cancellation, CNS will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the appointment.

Confidentiality:

Cali State Notary (CNS) will maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained from the Client in connection with the notary public services.

CNS will comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding data privacy and protection.

Governing Law:
-
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the State of California.
-

Severability:
-
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement:
-
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Client and Cali State Notary and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

Apostille Services:
-
All documents must be certified by the appropriate public official or a Notary. Only a certified copy of a document signed by a County Registrar or Recorder can be Apostilled. Copies should have a certification date within the last five years.

By using Cali State Notary & Apostille Services, I authorize Cali State Notary (CSN) to obtain Apostilles or Authentications on my behalf.

I agree to indemnify and hold CSN and/or its agents and employees harmless from any liability, including Attorney's fees, that may be incurred herein and for documents lost or delayed in shipping or for delays at the Secretary of State or Department of Justice. CSN cannot guarantee shipping and/or delivery times. CSN can not guarantee anything occurring as a result of force majeure.

You have been instructed not to purchase travel tickets or anything else until the Apostille or Authentications have been received. You are also instructed not to remove any staples, seals, or ribbons that may be attached to the Apostille once it has been received.

By using the services of the Cali State Notary & Apostille, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
